Came back to enjoy another Wine Down Tuesday :) Can't beat a half price bottle of wine, and Joey has a great selection. Enjoyed my wine with a couple of appetizers (Miso Roasted Mushrooms & the Mini Steak French Dips). Both cooked to perfection and delicious. Ended my meal with a scoop of the yummy maple ice cream ❤️. Looked after by the lovely Victoria and Sarjae. Thank you Joey for such a nice afternoon.
Service was mediocre, food was acceptable but not to return for and their g&t had no imagination.
The food at Joey’s is always a hit which is probably why it’s always super busy. I would say yesterday’s service was a bit slower than normal (no fault to the server!) but maybe the kitchen was backed up. Overall it was a good experience, I would go again!
The experience was great. Tyler I believe is who served us, he was very professional and friendly and funny. Mateo came to say hello as well. Thank you for the experience!

They were all absolutely FANTASTIC. Food was great but service was exceptional from everyone
One of the staff working behind the bar dropped a martini shaker on the floor and then picked it up and used it to make a drink after it bounced and rolled on the dirty floor entering the bar area!
Our waitress was lovely. Unfortunately she had very little help and was serving half the room alone. It took forever to get our drinks and food. Not the servers fault however. She was excellent. We were in the rooftop patio and it was sweltering hot. Occasionally we’d get a breeze until they decided to the close the windows which made it even hotter. Was no shelter from the beating sun.
Prior to our reservation, everything seemed very organized and we were very well taken care of. However, upon arrival things went downhill: with our table being changed at the last minute, and being given just one staff person to wait on our entire table of 20 persons. While the person serving us was kind, she appeared completely unaware that we were left waiting 40 minutes after receiving our drinks to take our food orders, and had to be flagged down at least 10 times to request things like water, glasses etc. I usually rea... read more
