The hostest was sitting us at a booth and when we arrived there was already a customer there. She walked us back to figure it out and brought us to a new table (high top) we asked to be sat at a booth that was being cleared and our group of 4 was denied because a 6 person group was going to be sat there. Fine, but the group ended being only 3. That was a little annoying. The hostest and the servers were nice and professional. The food was good. The portion have gone down and the prices have gone up. What a wonderful meal we enjoyed on Dec 11,2024 at Joey Lansdowne. All of the staff from the chef's busily, working in the kitchen to the front of house and wait staff were incredible. I ordered the New Co... read more

I always have an excellent experience at Joey’s. The Ottawa Lansdowne location is one of my favourite spots where all the staff are friendly and welcoming. I particularly enjoy the genuine hospitality of Will and Sidney as they make my experience that much more pleasant and enjoyable.

The server definitely made our experience at Joeys! She was the best. The quality of my Katsu chicken was poor, the batter was way overcooked and the chicken dry. It didn’t look like it had been cooked that day. My husband also tried it & agreed with me. One guest at our table bit into a piece of her meal, can’t remember the name, grease spewed out the bottom. We had to ask for extra napkins. Another meal was simply cod and way too much rice. A side of vegetables would have complemented the fish far better. For the prices t... read more
