We had mentioned in our reservation that my son was celebrating a birthday and every person who we interacted with wished him a birthday greeting. Our server Charlene is the Ultimate ambassador to Joey’s Shipyards. She remembered us from a few months ago and that there were nut allergies for my son. Sat upstairs by the window, the view was beautiful. Service is always terrific and friendly. My wife and I love the happy hour menu - which is terrific value. Highly recommend. My only complaint with Joey’s Shipyard is the consistently unfriendly hosts that greet you. We’ve visited this location a number of times in the last six months - the employees at the desk are generally unfriendly and unwelcoming - and typically not a great reflection of the excellent food and service you’ll receive once you are seated. One of the best atmospheres on the north shore! We had an amazing experience from the very moment we arrived and treated like VIPs throughout our entire dinner. The friendly, upbeat staff and Rosa, the manager went above and beyond to allow us to experience a magical evening we didn’t want to depart from. We have found a favourite table in now our new favourite gem at the Shipyards. Food and cocktails never disappoint. The menu has gone through some revamping over the past year with so much more to offer.

Great place to dine and also lounge. Greeted with champagne, beautiful view and ambience. A must visit when you’re at the quay. Food and service is great. My go to dishes are the steak and sushi and the oven roasted cod!

My experience every time I have been to Joey's at Lonsdale Quay has been exceptional. From the minute you walk in the door the greeting is very welcoming, the complimentary bubbly. The service has always been 5*, I am Celiac and they were very accommodating to my needs. The location is perfect especially on a sunny day. I look forward to returning.
