The technician was courteous and knowledgeable and did a good job, however, the cost of the visit I felt was somewhat exorbitant.
My apartment AC has broken down more times than I can count, and every time someone comes out to "fix it," there's a new issue. It has been almost a year, and they come every few months because the AC and airflow are not working for some unknown reason. A worker comes out and either tells me he doesn't know what's wrong and that someone else has to look at it, or that they need a new part that doesn't come until almost two weeks later. Make sure you get a second opinion if the technician tells you need a new furnace. Thankfully it saved me $12k when I got that 2nd opinion that said the Freon levels were not low and that system was not leaking. I think all HVAC vendors do this hoping for an unsuspecting customer taking them up on it - but it is deceptive and I didn’t think Nugent would follow that path, I was wrong.
The technician Fabian had no expertise, the more he talked the more we lost confidence on him, so let him go after 10 mins at the house. Because of this experience, we are inclined not to use Nugent again.
Great disgnostics
Awful scam of a business. I don't understand how they're so highly rated. I called to have my pipe snaked with a camera to find where a crack was. They said it's $90 for a house visit. The plumber shows up and tells me it's actually $360. Fine. He writes up a report and tells me he'll send the video to me later that day after he grabs it off the SD card. Never happened. I believe it was Nick who provided the service. He was excellent, very professional and thorough. He explained everything he did and gave me some very helpful maintenance tips.
$$$$400 for 45 minutes of labor! New garbage disposal installed for almost $600!! If you can afford it, the service is fine. I called and talked to manager and was told they charge by job not time. Shop around when hiring plumbing services. These guys are $$$$
