I advised Mr. Gonzalez about my husband's situation and how he couldn't be present but I had a POA signed before a US Consul. He stated he would have the document reviewed and approved prior to closing. It just seemed that each new person I spoke to regarding the refinance told me my husband HAD to be there or the closing could not occur. This was very stressful. Closing was rescheduled several times requiring me to readjust my calendar so many times.
