Dr Welden is a good Doctor had to change do to insurance.Hope to return.
A patient of Dr. Welden would be better off being treated by Mickey the Mouse. Where is the 0 star option? Dr. Welden is an absolute quack. He was unfamiliar with my rare, but well-documented condition and refused to educate himself in order to make sound recommendations. The recommendations made by Dr. Welden were counterintuitive to the most central aspects of my condition that a simple visit to pubmed can inform a non-advanced 5th grader on. I could go on and on about the damage caused to my health by this sorry excuse of... read more

Just read the other low ratings here to see his ugly pattern. He fired me too: left a message when I missed my second appt in 5 years, saying I was less dedicated to my health than he was. In the last 4 years of being his patient, I had irregular, high heart rate. I started with a cardiologist who treated it but found no cause and suggested I was on too much Synthroid. Welden kept my same dose. After I was 'fired', I found a new endo who ran tests, which showed I WAS over-treated. New endo lowered my Synthroid, cardiac sympt... read more
I would not recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a compassionate, patient and kind professional. He was rude, frank and made me feel like I was wasting his time. After being diagnosed with thyroid cancer, I was late to my first appointment with him and he made me feel like a total inconvenience. He mentioned that because I was late he really didn’t have time for me or my questions. This is no way to treat a patient. If I could give him 0 stars, I would. I will not be returning.

When my 18 Type 1daughter went in for her 3 month A1C check, she experienced a low in his office. He acted like this was rare, telling her she must be really sensitive to insulin.???? His nurse called and told her she was in early kidney failure. Prescribed LISINOPRIL. High blood pressure and heart medicine. She just told me that she was feeling horrible. All side effects of LISINIPRIL. Insentive, uninformed quack.
I had an appointment that had to be rescheduled due to the flooding event of August 2016. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, my father had to have surgery on the same day and I completely lost track of the appointment day. Dr. Weldon called me himself to ask why I had missed the appointment. When I told him I was at the hospital with my Dad (and apologized profusely), he simply stated "well, I think you need to find another doctor". Really?? No second chance with him!
Difficult getting past his Nurse for apt(s).
