Was a great evening. Food was excellent. Gordon Ramsay would be proud. Our server was worth 10 Stars.
We have always had a good experience when coming to the kbar. But this time was a little different. My wife and I asked for our steaks well done, it was bloody still, my wife was not happy as she would not eat it and not one server came to check on us through out a meal which has never happened before. The server was able to give us a $30 discount but overall the experience this time was not like any of our other times. Yes we will be back but we will make sure our steaks are well done.
The K-Bar staff is always wonderful - polite, gracious, and professional. They are also willing to change up the menu for my diet restrictions. We had Lewis (Louis?) as out server during this visit and he was amazing. Thanks so much. We look forward to our next visit in November.

I really admire the way Ka Bar hires from within !The Hostess Bomnie & Jr always do exceptional job ! Ashland is always a Professional & makes us feel so happy when we visit ! This is the best restaurant in So. Or. Bravo !
My spouse and I had the halibut and filet. Both tasted fantastic and the sides were good. My only complaint was that the middle of the very large halibut filet was undercooked (for my preference anyway), but it was large enough that I had plenty to eat.
Everything on the Menu from Appetizers to Entrees are very good quality and good flavors,,,Halibut and Filet mignon are my favorite.
The service here was absolutely wonderful. The food was also terrific and reasonably priced. Exceptions were a couple steaks on the menu, which were priced a little higher than Ruth's Chris, as a comparison. For the clarity of this review, none of the four in our party ordered steaks for our meal. The pasta dishes were excellent. It was just a terrific meal and evening.
