Keke's is a Denny's subsidiary meant to rebrand their image. Denny's uses pig products from distributors that use gestation crates--a cruel practice outlawed in many states and banned by many other companies in their supply chains--where mother pigs are kept confined in cages so small they can't walk or turnaround for almost their entire life. As soon as my girlfriend and I arrived, we were greeted by two separate servers. Then a leader-type worker showed up and saw that another couple was walking in behind us. The person decided to look past us and seat the couple behind us first. Then a minute later, she approached us and said "that didn't take too long did it?" I placed a order of 2 over medium eggs, home fries, and toast...and a side order of TURKEY BACON and a cup of fruit TO GO... The ticket came to $30.01, when I asked about the charges the manager corrected it and even gave me a 20% discount... My Father is at sumner hospital, and can eat breakfast anytime of the day...He doesn't eat pork or beef, and KeKe's is the only place, we have found, that serves turkey bacon... I get to the hospital and my order is WRONG...AFTER ALL OF THAT, NO TURKEY BACON!!!...

Keke's Breakfast Cafe is trying to pretend that they are not associated with the animal cruelty that their parent company, Denny's, supports. Yet Keke's has no animal welfare policies on their website. Gallatin and Hendersonville TN don't want anything to do with animal cruelty. Shame on you! ItsDinerTime.Com

So after reading reviews on Hendersonville location decided to give this restaurant a try. Here's the overview on the food: Food came out quickly, the chicken / waffles sounded yummy. The chicken tenders were over-done and the waffle was cold. I asked for almond milk and they didn't have any which is fine. But at least have an options for 2% milk for coffee. It's not necessary to have to purchase a glass of 2 % milk. My daughter had the omelette with home fries which were good but again the food was barely lukewarm. The or... read more
