Knollwood Dental is untrustworthy. About a month ago I got service of annual regular checkup and cleaning (which is supposed to be no cost to patient except special treatment). Last week they sent me a bill with patient payment on deductible. I went to the office to dispute. When I asked them on why I was charged, the personnel in the billing department said a specialized cleaning named “Periodontal” had been provided to me so I needed to pay for deductible amount. I called them on Saturday morning as soon as they opened. I had a dental emergency, and I wasn't a patient there, but I am now! They were very polite, and asked me to come in as soon as I could. Upon arrival, I did have new patient forms to fill out, but it didn't take long. They saw me right away, took xrays, conducted an examination, and confirmed my thought that I needed a root canal under a crown. Happily been using Knollwood for many years. I see Dr Kim and find his work to be excellent. Just had a new cap installed and was very pleased. He took the time to make sure my bite was comfortable and in line with my other teeth. This is the way dental work should be done.

It’s disappointing to see an office overrule a patient when it comes to their own care. They have choices and for the office manager to be so seething rude to paying customers is quite outlandish. I hope the Dr.’s there get Carol inline before she crumbles your practice. Word gets around pretty fast in the community when an officer manager treats people the way she does.

Dr Kim and his assistants are the best. My past experience of getting a crown can’t come close to the perfection that I experienced today with Dr Kim. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable during the process. Job well done!
