I'm new to the area from Michigan and needed an emergency visit for my 13 year old Chinese Crested. As a dog mom I was beside myself with worry & 4 hours away from my regular vet. Teresa at the desk got me in within 5 hours with the wonderful Dr. Vernenga! He took such great care of my little man! Superb experience all around and I made a routine check up appointment for my female Chinese Crested so Dr. Vernenga can meet my whole canine family. 100% recommend! Went there 40 yrs ago when I was raising toy poodles, moved out of state, came back and they are still the best vegetarian in Kokomo I believe, thank all the staff for your care and concern

Dr. Vernengo literally saved my little Pom's life! That Friday morning she had quickly become sick, about an hour after breakfast, and was not improving. I called and they accepted me as a walk-in. My regular vet could not make time for me -- THANK GOODNESS. Lily had previously been misdiagnosed with a lump they told me I had no reason to worry about it. I’ve been going to Kokomo Animal Hospital for over 20 years & I love them. All the doctors are great! Yesterday my granddaughter took our little pup to get vaccinated and they treated her very professionally (even though she is only 13- I was sick , but it needed to be done and adult friend of mine accompanied her). The front desk staff were helpful as well. Love this place!

I've never been disappointed. Quality of care is very good. I've only experienced Dr. Nowak but I hear good things about the other doctors -Dr. Nowak is knowledgeable, caring, a good listener and has a good sense of humor.
