RecommendedThe staff is caring for your pets. From the receptionists to the doctors they show they care for the furry friends I've brought them. I travel 25 minutes instead of going the nearest vet.
I can’t say enough about this place. I’ve been bringing my boxer here for the last 10 years and have nothing but good things to say about KAH as a whole but especially Dr.McDivitt. I took my Deacon in for the last time on Wednesday. After watching his quality of life steadily decline, I knew what I needed to do. Dr McDivitt showed so much compassion in our time of need. She comforted him so he wouldn’t be scared, caressing him gently until he went to sleep. She did not make me feel rushed in saying goodbye to my best friend.... read more

I have a regular vet for the girls and only use KAH for times that he isn't in. In all the times I've had to bring them for treatment I've always found the people there to be kind and caring. No, treatment isn't cheap but it isn't cheap anywhere else that is REPUTABLE . My "Big girl" has joint problems, and when they bathed her they took time and kept her calm and soothed her fear. That is worth any amount of money. My feeling on that subject is, if you can't afford to properly care for your pet you shouldn't have one.

I am relatively new to town and when a coworker recommended KAH to me, I was hesitant because I have not had the greatest experiences with animal hospitals before. When I decided to take my dachshund (Lumpy) there I was very apprehensive but he needed treatment for his typical dachshund issues. I am very glad I started taking him there. Just an amazing blessing to our community....All the doctors are wonderful and so caring, but we especially love Dr. Adam Vernengo...he has gone above and beyond for us and our fur babies time and time again....
