Happy to have the room, happy to leave it! AC kept me up with noise, hard to control temp in room, toilet was running, halls are very dingy to get to rooms. New lighting and carpeting would be great. Very convenient place for a short stay on our way back from NY to MA after a long drive to NY that same day. Stamford Diner was connected/next door which was a big plus. Could walk there! Great food. Staff was terrific. Breakfast room okay. We were surprised at how many people there.

Overall,. I felt that all was fair for the price. For me, since I have mobility issues my first floor room, requiring two small sets of stairs to get to it, was inconvenient. I probably should have requested another room but I didn't. I didn't avail myself of the breakfast
