Will start to shop around for better deals. Hampton gives a college parent discount This visit the price was doubled from last weekend. Last weekend I stayed for 2 nights $200 this time 1 night $200. When I inquired the clerk said supply and demand there are a lot of events happening in town this weekend. For some of us who travel to see our kids in college we need a better consistent rate. Good deal, Lady at Check in was fantastic, amenities /furnishing in rooms lacking. Room was bare , no end tables & only one chair. Also I wanted to pay cash at check out and they said they could not do that , breakfast was marginal also. Great staff, , good rates, good location.
