About this business

La Siena is a luxurious senior living community in Phoenix, AZ. Some people like to be in the thick of things— close to museums, major league ballparks, hiking trails, botanical gardens, performing arts venues, upscale dining and shopping districts, and excellent healthcare providers. If you’ve retired from work, but not from your life, you’ll find La Siena a very convenient hub for every place you love to go. On the other hand, if a resort-like sanctuary with great cuisine, exceptional amenities and attentive service is top... read more

I am/was a resident of this facility La Siena is a great place to live. The staff is very friendly and quickly learns your name. Everyone strives to make sure you get what you need and are very attentive.

I visited this facility La Siena was very nice. We got to tour the whole place and it was beautiful. It was like walking into a resort. There were lots of activities and the facilities were outstanding. If I could move into a community, I would move there. The apartments were just beautiful. The staff were very friendly, very accommodating, answered all of our questions, and were just very outstanding. They have swimming pools, exercise rooms, craft rooms, a movie theater, a salon, and everything you would want and more.

I visited this facility We visited the assisted living side of La Siena. We are choosing it for the location and that they have apartments available for my relatives. It looked excellent. We haven't moved my relatives yet, so we'll see what it's like after we get in. Right now, everything looks great. They have all of the activities like physical therapy, a fitness center, a hair salon, and doctors who come to the facility. All of that was part of our decision in choosing this place. We had lunch there and everything was goo... read more

I visited this facility In general, I like La Siena. I like the location in particular. I was hoping the workout room would have heavier exercise equipment like at the YMCA or something like that, but I was overall impressed. We would like to have sampled the food there to get an idea about what the cuisine is, but we didn't have a chance to do that. They said that if we came back, we could arrange such a thing. I was impressed with the facility, especially independent living would be my choice. The rooms were nice and they ... read more

I visited this facility My mother chose La Siena because she visited there. It's right in between where I live and my sister lives. It's probably a medium size place. It's very nice and very well laid out. They have independent living and assisted living in the same building. They actually have a set up where I think you can actually mingle with the independent living, and they all have the same dining room and all that. It's very comfortable and very quiet in the surroundings. They're on Northern Avenue, but they're back of... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My dad was at La Siena for only three months. It's a good and well-rounded facility. I didn't live there, but my dad did, and based on what I saw from picking him up and visiting him, they were very strict when it comes to COVID-19 guidelines for obvious reasons. According to my dad, the staff there was okay. My dad had a caretaker with him for fifteen years and it was kind of hard to replace her. Obviously there was a bit of a change going from her to people he doesn't kn... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your 5-star review. As you are aware, Covid has created new challenges that everyone is learning to navigate and adapt to, and we at La Siena are no exception. From the proactive changes in the way we deliver our dining services and life enrichment activities, to enhanced disinfecting protocols and stringent visitor restrictions, we are enacting these measures in an effort to protect our residents and our staff. We are working tirelessly to find ways to make this experience the best it can be while maintaining ... read more

I am/was a resident of this facility I lived in independent living at La Siena. The food wasn't the greatest. They didn't have very many activities as where I'm living now. They don't have happy hours. The price was way too high and way out of line. The staff was pretty good.

I visited this facility La Siena was well taken care of. The food was excellent and high quality. The staff was very good and seemed to be attentive. The people seemed to be happy. The facilities were very good, and they had individual places for arts and crafts, swimming pool with activities, different clubs, a good movie theater, a nice chapel, a dancing area, major library, a pub, a computer area, educational programs, regular transportation to activities within Phoenix as well as to major stores, and etc. My wife loved i... read more
