About this business

La Siena is a luxurious senior living community in Phoenix, AZ. Some people like to be in the thick of things— close to museums, major league ballparks, hiking trails, botanical gardens, performing arts venues, upscale dining and shopping districts, and excellent healthcare providers. If you’ve retired from work, but not from your life, you’ll find La Siena a very convenient hub for every place you love to go. On the other hand, if a resort-like sanctuary with great cuisine, exceptional amenities and attentive service is top... read more

I visited this facility I toured La Siena. Everything is good. The staff was very friendly and charming. When you come in through the door, they greet you right away. They will give you a seat and have somebody come and see you or whoever you made an appointment with. And then they took me to a nice room where they interviewed people trying to apply. The structure of the building looks very strong. It's made out of bricks. and everything else is beautifully done. They have a nice terrace for entertaining guests. They have a ... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I moved my 91 year old friend into assisted living 2 years ago. The entire experience has been very positive! The nurses and caregivers were all very attentive and friendly. Special acknowledgement to LPN Fernando who was always so helpful making sure my friend was ready for appointments and checking on her when she wasn't feeling well. Kudos to Martin and the entire maintenance team as well for going the extra mile, always with a smile on their face. The food was very goo... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mom moved to La Siena after a bad experience at another local independant living facility. This place is amazing. My mom is very young to be in a place like this (67 but with the beginnings of Alzheimer's disease) and was worried she wouldn't meet people who had a lot of energy. It has been quite the opposite, there are always events happening, people come by and make sure she is always present for the events she is excited about (happy hour, trivia, dinner, etc.) and s... read more

I visited this facility La Siena has independent living and assisted living there (I checked out their independent living), but they don't have assisted living in a separate facility. It was explained to me that one side of the corridor was assisted living and one was independent living, but I'm 78 years old and probably in pretty good shape, and the people that I saw there were in walkers and wheelchairs. It looked to me like a nursing home and I want to be around people that have more energy and life. It was just depressin... read more

I visited this facility La Siena was very nice. We got to tour the whole place and it was beautiful. It was like walking into a resort. There were lots of activities and the facilities were outstanding. If I could move into a community, I would move there. The apartments were just beautiful. The staff were very friendly, very accommodating, answered all of our questions, and were just very outstanding. They have swimming pools, exercise rooms, craft rooms, a movie theater, a salon, and everything you would want and more.

I visited this facility We visited the assisted living side of La Siena. We are choosing it for the location and that they have apartments available for my relatives. It looked excellent. We haven't moved my relatives yet, so we'll see what it's like after we get in. Right now, everything looks great. They have all of the activities like physical therapy, a fitness center, a hair salon, and doctors who come to the facility. All of that was part of our decision in choosing this place. We had lunch there and everything was goo... read more

I visited this facility In general, I like La Siena. I like the location in particular. I was hoping the workout room would have heavier exercise equipment like at the YMCA or something like that, but I was overall impressed. We would like to have sampled the food there to get an idea about what the cuisine is, but we didn't have a chance to do that. They said that if we came back, we could arrange such a thing. I was impressed with the facility, especially independent living would be my choice. The rooms were nice and they ... read more

I visited this facility My mother chose La Siena because she visited there. It's right in between where I live and my sister lives. It's probably a medium size place. It's very nice and very well laid out. They have independent living and assisted living in the same building. They actually have a set up where I think you can actually mingle with the independent living, and they all have the same dining room and all that. It's very comfortable and very quiet in the surroundings. They're on Northern Avenue, but they're back of... read more
