It takes a little while for your parent to adjust. Encourage them to participate in activities. Encourage them to go sooner than later because it's important to get to know other neighbors while they can actively participate and feel well enough to get out and visit. Staff is friendly and kind, but there is some turnover and shortages sometimes.

Lakestone is a beautiful location by the lake. Staff is really helpful and friendly. The building is a little dated with some deferred maintenance needed that would help it look fresh. I would recommend to others.

We chose Lakestone Terrace because of the affordability. Some of the others in the area were just way out of the budget. We could not be happier. My dad has a nice balcony that overlooks the lake and he can watch the geese. He is very happy. The staff and residents are all super friendly. We could not have asked for a better place for our parents and would recommend this facility in a heartbeat.

Lakestone Terrace is a community for Independent Living, and my loved one needed more assisted living style which they could not offer, more than just checking on her once a day. I was not satisfied as my loved one needed more than what this community could offer.

The things that we were offered when we signed her up, some of those things have been taken away but I think it is because times are hard and they cannot find help. Overall they have been great and I am so thankful that she is in here because it gives me peace of mind. Mom is adjusting well and they do offer a ton of activities. They have bible study once a week, bingo, they take residents on a pontoon boat, van trips to go shopping, a movie room, a sewing room, exercise classes, etc. The staff as well as the residents are a... read more

Lakestone Terrace is very clean, and the staff members are very friendly. The food is very good, it would be a five out of five. The rooms are also very good, it would be a five out of five as well. We would recommend this community to others.

i think that they are a very caring community and that they are trying very hard to deal with this quarantine. The food was wonderful before quarantine when is was served the dining room. Then when they started delivering the meals, it wasn't as good. The staff are wonderful. The residents are very friendly and we have made friends. We live in one of the cottages. Some of the buildings are old. The lawn service is not great, they keep mowing down my flowers.

The facility was nice. The apartment had a strange layout. The cottages were really nice. The dining arrangement of cafeteria style for all meals was unappealing to us.

My father is doing pretty well since his move to this community. I do feel comfortable with his move to this community. The only concern we have had is when he first toured the community, he was told that he would have a nice size cottage with a back yard space. He was not placed in that cottage, the cottage he currently lives in is smaller than the one he was shown. He has a dog that he loves, and hopefully they are able to accommodate with giving him a bigger cottage. He doesn't the lunch, and dinner meals, they need impro... read more
