I've lived at Lauren's Way Apartments for 6 years. I've had a great experience with the maintenance team, both previous and Tyrone, the current. The manager Tanisha has always been friendly and accommodating. The area that I lived in was ways quiet and my neighbors were quiet and friendly. I had no mold or pest problems in either apartments that ive lived in. I would have stayed if I could but it was time to move on. It's been a pleasure. Thanks

I have lived in these apartments for almost 4 years now and have had a great experience. The location is great and very close to 540, along with many businesses and restaurants close by. The staff is very friendly and do a great job of keeping you up to date on upcoming events or any other issues that the residents need to be aware of. Maintenance also does a great job and items are fixed fast if there is a problem. The two negatives I have would be sometimes it's easy to hear your neighbor and the noise. I have lived at Laurens Way for three years now, and have been happy since I've moved in. The location is great, it's 1 mile away from a grocery store, large shopping plaza, and many fast food and sit down restaurants. The residential community is very well maintained and the surrounding neighborhoods are safe. I run all the time around 4:30am and I've never felt unsafe out there by myself, in fact most mornings I see a safety patrol officer driving around too. I understand this is not a wealthy area in knightdale so it is not going to be perfect BUT the prices are absolutely ridiculous for the space, quality, customer service and crime in the area. The place is not a good neighborhood, dirt bikes in the street every weekend, gun shots, fire truck screaming down the road every other day. The windows and doors in the apartments don't keep the cold/heat out. No access to a hose, garbage is inconvenient but they will still charge you for it. appliances are super outdated and I couldn'... read more

I lived there for a ye a r year and within 6 months I wanted to move. For at least 5 months I had issues with my rent and the office could not be bothered when it wasn't my fault. I had a leak under my bathroom sink that cause really bad mold and it took months to get fixed. By fixed I mean they cut it out replaced it with a board and used puddy. Then left it. Everything was taken out of my bathroom and thrown around my bedroom. Very unhappy and glad to be gone. I am sure if the mangers ever had a problem with rent they wo... read more

The AC in my apartment went out May 22, 2020. I informed the office staff of my sons upper respiratory condition which is triggered by heat. My sons Dr. is very adamant about me keeping the air in my living environment between 70-72 degrees. Here it is June 8, 2020 and I still do not working AC. The AC in my home is set at 65 degrees and is reading 81 degrees (picture attached) The office staff haven't done shit! They aren't even sympathetic to my living situation. I have lived here 15 months. DON'T move here. Trash everywhere, 2 months after my roof leaked I still have water stains on my walls and ceiling! And the pool is usually closed for the summer in July because it gets trashed and then the tenants get nasty email blaming US for not policing our surroundings! Then I try to leave and they tell me I have to find someone to rent it! I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone. Lauren's Way is described by Drucker and Falk as "luxury apartments." If your idea of luxury is old, rusty, tiny and the cheapest kitchen appliances, this is the place for you--if not, RUN. The apartment is spray painted over stains, nicks, plastered holes, dust, and bugs. I am the third person that I know of in the last 6 months in my building to have the old rusted hot water heater burst and flood the apartment. Absolutely 0 compassion from the office staff and no trace of customer service will be found at Laurens Way Apartments. We have had numerous issues since moving in here and wish we never would have, looking back living in my car in a Wal-Mart parking lot would have been better than living here. 1. When we moved in, we were not told before hand to activate water services. So for the first 4 days of us living here we did not have running water, we couldn't even use our own toilet. 2.
