Our son had a comprehension problem: not understanding what he was reading or having explained to him. Because he did not qualify for an IEP, we searched the internet and found Learning RX. This place is fantastic!! After testing him, Dena set up a plan for training. As the months flowed, our son became more confident, had a better understanding of things and was happier! LearningRx has proven to be a tremendous experience. After not being accepted to the degree program of my choice and struggling through three years of school at UW-Madison I had become full of self-doubt, and lost most of the confidence I had during my high school years. Learning RX is one of the best decisions we have made for our son! We began the journey 5 years ago. He went through the program. We saw such remarkable changes that we didn't want it to end. We continue to this day to have him train 1 to 2 days per week. Most importantly, he enjoys it thoroughly. His increased confidence shows! His anxiety is all but gone! I can't thank Learning RX enough for giving me the opportunity to see what brain training could for me and how much it has helped me in my every day life. Last year was a difficult parenting year for us. Not only did we send our sophomore to public school, but he was truly struggling with is ability to focus and learn. Against our better judgement we were advised to put him on ADD medication. Needless to say, it was useless in helping him learn and we did not like the side effects we were seeing (the dependence on a drug). It's been a year since our daughter completed her program at LearningRx Green Bay. I cannot thank her trainer and the rest of the staff enough for what they have done for her. I have seen so much improvement in her since she started working with LearningRx. She is more confident, works through problems and homework more independently, and is overall a much happier little girl!
