The unique building that houses Longo’s supermarket is a registered Ontario Heritage site. What started as primarily farmland, the building was built in 1919 as a locomotive facility for the Canadian Northern Railways. I recently had some very poor experiences with customer service from various mobile and internet providers. While at the plaza at 45 Overlea Blvd, I came across a Rogers store. A young woman there, named Rose, was assisting customers. When it was my turn, I explained what I needed, and she listened carefully. She then offered me better deals and service than I had previously encountered. Rose truly made my day; she has a natural talent for customer service.
