First Capital’s Leaside Village was built with that vision – a retail destination, a premium location, a design that honoured the past and an environmental commitment that fortified the future. The unique building that houses Longo’s supermarket is a registered Ontario Heritage site. What started as primarily farmland, the building was built in 1919 as a locomotive facility for the Canadian Northern Railways. Everything you need is here from , medical offices , groceries, drug store , fast food or dine in, booster juice , supplement store, bulk barn, Tim’s, beer store …the list goes on….the parking is where it can be a pain during peak hours

This tiny village located just north of Toronto seems quaint by comparison to the hustle and bustle of the Big Hog to the south. With shopping and dining opinions a plenty, one might spend a leisurely afternoon strolling the streets and narrow lanes of this fine Ontario village. There are a lot of folk about, doing their daily stuff. Everybody should visit at least one time.
