We found out our 5 year old 1800 sq ft house siding was involved in a class-action suit against the Certainteed company. <p>I finally madethe decision to replace the siding in order to keep rain from being driven behind the shake siding on the upper half of a 106 year old 2-story Craftsman bungalow whenever we have heavywinds.I wasn't initiallyconvince about replacing the cedar siding since most of it wasstill in good shape. She communicated what she wanted and we were able to work together to give her turn of the century home a compete facelift as we turned the clock back 100 years. I would normally say its the most beautiful home in the neighborhood but since its the third restoration we've done on or close to her street I can easily say it's one of the three most beautiful homes in her neighborhood.

Ralph was very professional and willing to help. His bid was competitive, fair, and was actually lower than others even though his service was impeccable. The job was actually started a month sooner than we anticipated (which was great!) and finished on time also. I can't say enough fantastic things about Lifetime Remodeling, they were absolutely fantastic from the beginning to the end. We first met with Ralph to go over what we wanted to do with the house and there was A LOT to be done. He came back with his proposal and it was in the right price range including the insulation and redoing our garage as well. Before we started there were major issues that had to be dealt with including dry rot, carpenter ant damage, asbestos and lead paint remediation and some structural issues. I was contacted while in the field and it was a smaller repair project which I agreed to come out and take a look to see if we could help. I worked with Scott, who did the paperwork and planned everything, Alberto who did the labor, plus Ralph came around to chat, checking to see if anyone needed anything and seeing the progression on my house project....they were fantastic, helpful and very accommodating to my needs.
