Overall, the process lacked the level of transparency and consistency we expected for a transaction of this size. We repeatedly asked for clear breakdowns of your par rate versus buy-down structure, but never received a straightforward answer, not to be mistaken for “Loan quotes” It became apparent that rates were starting above market and being offset through incentives rather than presented clearly upfront. I didn’t feel I was being attended to well enough for me to give anything other than a 1 star review. In the beginning we told the lender what we wanted, in doing this she continuously blamed the “new” system as to why certain things were the way they were and how confusing the “new” system is. At one point she advised me I would have to get a my credit pulled a second time because of something I said initially I wanted done, before this whole process started we told the lender what we wanted but because of the “new” system ... read more
