Perhaps I had built up higher expectations than I should have. The food was fine, but after years of hearing how great Livery was, I was a bit underwhelmed. It was good, but not good enough to make me want to make a repeat visit. Would I go again if friends wanted to? Sure. Would I add it to my list of places I would like to go again? No. The server, however, was fantastic and very gracious and swift to correct a flan misstep.
