Stopped in for a bite and beverage after watching a movie over at the VIP...we were quickly seated...and looking forward to our meal...the folded menus were disgusting...they were greasy and food stained...Two of us just wanted water to drink...our server brought us a jug of water and 2 glasses...the drinking glasses were simply gross...dried food, cloudy glass, water spots...We had enough...We called our server over to pay for the one beverage on our tab...we showed her the menus and glasses...she went and got the manager..... read more
Disappointed tonight. Love this restaurant normally, but tonight had to wait almost 2 hrs for a table. Came for the poutine and after finally being sat, we were told they had no ingredients for poutine !!?? Not impressed. You can do better local!!
Didn't have a good overall experience. Had to wait 25 minutes in order get drinks and an additional 25 minutes after that to get food. Host was very informal with us and when me and my guests talked to the host, the waitress has an audacity to confront me to see if there was something wrong with her service even though we were asking a different question overall. Since I am a citizen from out of town, be assured I will never be back and I will let anyone in my social circle to come here as well.
I came here a few weeks ago for the first time on a Monday night. It was the slowest service I have ever experienced. We ordered 1 order of tacos and 1 order of chips and guacamole and 4 beers. We went unnoticed by anyone for an hour before someone came back to see us and I mentioned that we had still not gotten our food. It came a few minutes later. I would like to know why you removed my initial review. I notice that you left other 1 star reviews on your page. It didn't contain any profanity or insulting remarks. It was just an honest review of my recent experience at your establishment that left me very unimpressed.
Frozen calamari with too much batter and overcooked. Fish taco has equal parts fish and cilantro. Jerk chicken sandwich is room temperature chicken with bland all-spice on an oversized bun.
I was excited to try this new place and although the food was okay the service was horrible. Probably the unfriendliest place I've been in Ottawa. Our server was miserable the whole time. Waited almost 15 mins for our drinks to be served too. Not impressed :(
