Great restaurants and neighborhood
I loved this area. It was close enough to walk to both Porter and Davis, but was out of the way. I frequented Tacos Lupita quite often, along with that Starbucks. I would gladly move back to the Ville.
Great access to the Green Line and the Prudential Center, and a short walk to the South End. A bit touristy though, so you might have to walk an extra couple blogs to find the better restaurants or avoid holiday crowds.
Great apartment, great price, really beautiful neighborhood near the Charles. Darwin's is nearby as well which is a great place.
Loved this apartment. Well-priced, responsive and friendly landlords (family owned, NOT copley group). Easy walk to Longwood/ Harvard Med as well as Back Bay. 5min walk to the Green Line Fenway stop.
I lived on Clarendon just south of Columbus and it was my favorite neighborhood in Boston. It's quiet with very little traffic and adorable brownstones, while at the same time still close to a lot of fun spots, including the Tremont restaurant and bar scene and the Boston Common.
Adorable house with front and back porch, backyard, sweet kitchen and pantry. Street is very cute, generally a great neighborhood. I'd recommend checking out for breakfast Soundbyte Cafe on Broadway as well as Johnny's. YUM.
We really enjoyed being able to walk everywhere on weekends, from the South End to the North End, Harvard Square, Back Bay and everywhere in between. The lack of local grocery stores made a car pretty important, however, we really loved the mix of people in our neighborhood and the ability to walk everywhere!
Close to shopping (Shaws or Prudential), some offices nearby, and walking distance/short drive to South End restaurants
