As first time home buyers we really didn’t know what to expect from either side. We purchased a house that was listed by Lucy Ham. Everything went smoothly after closing. The sellers had 30 days to move out plus we gave them an additional day to clean the shed out. The shed was not cleaned out, items were left that were not listed in the contract and disclosures. A shady, unethical real estate company. Lucy Ham Group represented a property we were trying to purchase; we made an offer, and late that night we got a verbal acceptance of our offer. Dropped our earnest money deposit off the next morning, and then a few hours later we get a call from our real estate agent saying the seller reneged on the verbal agreement. Thank you for your review. We market aggressively to get multiple offers for our sellers; however it’s not comfortable for the buyers when the seller chooses the best offer. In this case the seller chose one of the four that met their needs for the many terms considered in the transaction. I applaud your choice. It was a great house. Our 13,000 transactions have been a lot of work and learning in every situation.
