I waited to write a review for Lush Landscaping because we hired this company for a big job. Initially, this company was nice, willing to work with you, and of course they need the job. I had 37 emerald thuja arborvitae installed 4 months ago. If you look at the pictures, this is the same tree height we got it installed 4 months ago. Well after 2-3 months later, I started noticing that we have about 11 trees that are dying and turning brown. Do not hire Lush. They did a horrible job and destroyed my garden. I don't think they knew what they were doing when it came to the specialty trees and shrubs I had, even though I specifically asked if they did. The person I booked with assured me they would know. They cut some back so far I don't know how many years it will take to grow back.
In 2017 their crew installed a non permeable grouting material between brick pavers in front and back yards and parkway. Looked great for that summer only. In 2018 the grout started to peel off in areas particularly along walkways and around raised planters. After more than a few calls they finally did respond and his crew did spot repairs in one area only. In 2019 more areas had the grouting peel again and weeds started to emerge. They no longer returned phone calls.
My interaction with Lush Landscaping was far from satisfactory, earning them a two-star rating. The biggest downfall was their consistent failure in communication. Right from the start, it was a struggle to receive timely and informative responses to my inquiries about the project details, budget, materials, and timeline. I regret hiring them. The lack of attention to detail is evident in every corner of my yard. The plants they installed were of poor quality and are already dying. The hardscaping was done haphazardly, leaving uneven pathways and unstable features.
I had a horrible experience and my garden was anything but lush after they were done with it. My backyard is a mess now!!
