Great service from the host and wait staff. Our meals were excellent. Good to have the dining areas expanded too.
Decent but I won’t be dying to return any time soon. We had drinks and dinner with friends. We had a dining reservation at 6:30 but called the day before to see if we could have a drink in the bar beforehand. They accommodated our request. When we arrived they seated us at a small high top in the bar. We had drinks and then as our reservation time came about we closed our bar tab to head to our dinner table. Great service. Loved the food. The menu made it very hard to choose.
The menu wasn’t great. Not a lot of options for those with a simple pallet. No substitutions, couldn’t switch the bun on my burger, they added sour cream to the pot pie and the menu didn’t list sour cream. The menu is creative, but they forgot not everyone likes creative pairings.
As a vegan it was great to have 3 vegan options to choose from. I enjoyed my meal and cocktail. My husband thought his meal was just okay. For $28 he was hoping it would be really good. He was also disappointed with the beers you had on tap. He prefers darker beers. We signed up for the free tour which was short, but fun to be able to see other parts of the mansion.
We enjoyed dinner next to a cozy fire in a beautiful room. Definitely a wonderful spot for a date night. I had the coconut curry which was delicious. Our server was wonderful. Great experience. We plan to go back.
