We just moved to SW WA and had our 1st visit w/a new local vet - did it drive home how amazing Dr. Monroe & Dr. Rabkin are! The new vet group is good but not awesome -> we have a very difficult ginger cat Dr.Monroe new how to swaddle him in order to get his exam done and clip his wicked sharp nails for free (which is an additional fee here) we are taking Moe back to the new vet for them to sedate him so he can have a proper exam, and they can manage to finish the nails that I paid for but of course it will cost more $. This was our first visit and it went perfectly. My heeler is not a social butterfly and the staff was very helpful getting us in and out without bothering any other patients. Doctor Andras was very friendly and good with my girl. I look forward to our next visit.
My cay suffers with hair balls like most cats. I took her to the vet and she prescribed the proper over the counter medicine and voila she is not coughing any longer. Thank-you Alicia!
I appreciate the fact that you added a person for small animal care and treatment.
My primary vet practices alternative methods and doesn't have a lab, and she sent me to Maplewood for bloodwork. I've been very happy with my two experiences here. The doctors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the clinic is clean and well kept. I'm very happy to have Maplewood for the more "conventional" side of Luna's health care :)
Skill and genuine caring by all are foremost. My Andy actually enjoys his visits. He seems to feel safe and loved. I have confidence that he is receiving excellent vet care. Having been a customer for years with my various cats, I highly recommend Maplewood Animal Hospital.
The staff seemed knowledgeable and honest. I was prepared to pay for a urine test but the vet was honest and suggested another method.
