Waited Way Too Long to Get my Crooked Nose Fixed This is my own experience. When I was younger, I had an accident playing as a kid. I was running around playing tag and I pretty much tripped and faceplanted. When I got off the ground there was a river of blood coming out of my nose. Essentially I knew I had messed up big time haha. Since then I knew my nose was crooked. I pretty much had to go through all of middle and high school being teased for my appearance. Well fast forward a decade and now I knew it was a deviated sep... read more

The best of the best! I highly recommend him! - Marietta, GA I've been a patient of Dr. Antunes' for over a year and he is by far the best surgeon I've been to. His professionalism and consideration for his clients is second to none. He takes the time to understand my specific needs as a client, and explains the process every step of the way. He is attentive to details, highly skilled, and always makes me feel comfortable in his office. I trust his opinion and strongly recommend him!! I've seen him multiple times now, and I ... read more

Drooping Eye Was Driving Me Nuts! - Marietta, GA I am a 61 yr. old who's left eye was driving me nuts! My eyes have drooped for several years, but over the past year the left eye became significantly worse than the right eye, and was actually sitting on my eye lashes. That was a very 'weird' sensation, and it was driving me nuts! (I even found myself subconsciously hold my brow up on that side while reading.) I saw an eye surgeon to see if a blepharoplasty would resolve this, and was told that it was actually my brow that wa... read more

Correcting a Smile That Frowned - Marietta, GA The right corner of my mouth always looked turned down, giving the impression that I was always grumpy, angry, or annoyed. When I smiled, that corner of my mouth actually turned down instead of up. Dr. Antunes used a combination of botox and fillers to help correct what had before been an unintended frown. The first treatment he did 40% of what he estimated I needed, with a follow-up scheduled three weeks later for the second treatment. He told me it was better to start just wit... read more

Repair Following Moh's Procedure - Marietta, GA I was referred to Dr. Antunes by my dermatologist for surgery following Moh's procedure to remove a basal-cell carcinoma in the area between the base of my nose and my upper lip. I was very anxious about this before meeting Dr. Antunes but the surgery went well, so far there have been no complications, and I am very pleased with the results.

Septoplasty. Marietta, GA Having a nose job is a very long (and sometimes scary!) journey due to the many emotional and physical changes you will experience. Because I knew that it was going to be a process, I needed to find a doctor that I trusted completely. Not only did Dr. Antunes make my nose look way more proportional and symmetrical, but I can breathe so much better after the surgery. When we met in person we went over his expectations and compared them to my expectations. He gave great advice and didn't lie to me abo... read more

43 Years Old, Could Not Breathe and my Nose Was Caved in and Crooked - Woodstock, GA Dr. Antunes is the best doctor that I have been to. He takes pride in his work and cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him to others and would definitely go back to see him. He walked me through the whole process which most doctors do not. He made me feel at ease and very comfortable. I had sinus surgery before and had black eyes and in this case I had no black eyes. If I need surgery again he will definitely be my first choic... read more

76 Year Old Retired Biology Prof Had Need for Lobe Restructuring on Right Ear After Basal Cells Removed by Dermatologist. - TX Dermatologist advised plastic surgery restructuring by Dr. Antunes. The latter concurred and surgical date was established. Dr. Antunes advised taking a broad-spectrum antibiotic pre-op to get effective circulating levels. Very wise! He trained my wife and me on post-surgery wound cleaning, medication application, and bandage positioning.

Almost Complete Paralysis of the Left Side of Face and Left Eye Would Not Close Due to Bells Palsy - Austin, TX Dr. Antunis first placed a heavy weight in my left eyelid so that it would close. He tried all the weights he had starting at the bottom and it was the next heaviest weight that closed my eye. Dr. Antunis told me after a time had past, I would probably need a lighter weight. During the year plus since the first surgery, I developed a lazy eye. Visiting with Dr. Antunis, he explained that he could change the implant... read more
