Repair Following Moh's Procedure - Marietta, GA I was referred to Dr. Antunes by my dermatologist for surgery following Moh's procedure to remove a basal-cell carcinoma in the area between the base of my nose and my upper lip. 76 Year Old Retired Biology Prof Had Need for Lobe Restructuring on Right Ear After Basal Cells Removed by Dermatologist. - TX Dermatologist advised plastic surgery restructuring by Dr. Antunes. The latter concurred and surgical date was established. Dr. Antunes advised taking a broad-spectrum antibiotic pre-op to get effective circulating levels. Very wise! He trained my wife and me on post-surgery wound cleaning, medication application, and bandage positioning.
