Ken is a very down-to-earth guy, personable and easy to talk to. He explained the whole project in detail and was on-site for both the measurements and installation. I am very impressed by his product and would highly recommend his company to anyone in need of new windows! The installers were on time and efficient as well! Our new windows look GREAT!
They did all my siding and it was wonderful, probably the best work some one has ever done for me, they always showed up, he came in personally to supervise the whole project, I loved the price and overall it was a fantastic work.
The guy that installed our new kitchen just put cabinets up without drywall on the bottom side behind cabinets, where he pulled off the old back splash. New drywall was installed up to the bottom of the cabins (NO DRYWALL LEFT BEHIND). Installed new backsplash (NOT TAKEN HIS TIME AND SLAPPED IT UP). I had to make them take the cabins down and install drywall. I had to have them do the backsplash over a couple times (still not right). He only cleaned up the big messes. EVERY DAY, I HAD TO GO BEHIND HIM AND CLEAN UP EACH MESS.
After we signed our contract with Maris for a deck rebuild, they contacted us a week later to let us know they were increasing the cost of the effort by $4000 due to a mistake they made in the estimate. There was no discussion on them sharing in the cost or taking any responsibility.
Just not happy with the whole experience!
Sold me the best windows for the money after I told him how I just wanted better dual-pane windows before I put the house up for sale. He did not grill me with extensive hard-sell or upsell routine.
Really, my only suggestion to them would be to cut the metal railings on a disposable tarp, and haul them away. Doing the metal cutting on the deck was not in the best judgement, nor is blowing the shavings into the yard. My pet could have easily have some shaving embedded in its paws. That would have been a problem. Joe
I cannot extol enough accolades about the installation crew. They were top notch. On time, clean, polite. I am very disappointed with my interaction with the owner. My assumption was we paid for the siding , soffit, j-channel. etc., but my assumption was incorrect. We were expected to return all unused material so he could sell it again. I received multiple phone calls, I started to screen them. I felt like we were taking food from his childrens mouth. So disappointed.
I hired them to install a vinyl fence. Come to find out, my HOA will not allow a vinyl fence. We switched it to an aluminum fence. They ordered a straight gate instead of a slanted one. In order for them to install the gate, they had to dig up my yard. I now have a large hill directly after my gate. It looks horrible.
