I took my daughter here today for a check up, and after reading the reviews i was a little nervous. This place was amazing! Easy check in, a very pleseant visit with the Doctor. What made this place a 10 was the staff!! Angel was amazing when it came time for them to do a blood draw on my daughter. The nurse drawing the blood was gentle and Angel held my daughter as if she was his own child! I will definitely be back!

I have never had a problem here, old reviews are irrelevant. I have 2 children, 12 months apart. When I moved to Garland from North Dallas, my kids got sick and I immediately needed an appointment in the middle of a move. Childrens Health exceeded my expectations, Dr. Naz been my sons' PCP for almost a year now. Always clean, never too busy. I have gotten same day appointments for the most part, if not then next day. I like the receptionists. I recommend this Pediatric group to everyone in Garland. They give you a 15 minut... read more

I hate to give only 3 stars when I didn't really use their services. I went in on a Saturday at 11:15 am. They close at noon on Saturdays. They told me that I needed an appointment and the doctors last appointment was at 10:45. I didn't see anything about needing an appointment on the website. So I was pretty annoyed that I couldn't see the doctor because most of these places are walk-in accepted. The receptionist seemed nice and the waiting room was clean and modern. Moved here from another state so we were looking for a Dr for my 11 year old son. On our first visit the doctor was so quick and didn't even listen to his heart or look in his throat. She did have him stand and drop his pants to look at his private area. Which was very unprofessional to me. She didn't explained what she was doing or anything. When my son ask what? Awful! And too bad because I really liked Dr. Char but shes abusing the insurance companies and Patients. My Daughter had appt and had gotten all her shots except 1 so we had to come back another day. 2nd appt, She got her last shot and I asked Dr. Char a question about the color of my daughter's pee(My daughter was not sick she just needed more water) and because I asked she charged my Insurance another $140 bucks and me another co-pay. I have called the insurance to let them know and am appealing the bill.

Friendly enough staff; we see Dr. Char who is very friendly and sweet with the kids. But don't bring up any slight health issues during the regular check up, or you will get charged extra for asking. Regular check-ups are supposed to be fully covered by insurance, but the last two times I've been, I would ask minor health questions of the doctor, and then be slapped with an extra bill for a "non-regular visit care", from Children's Health Pediatric Group. Staff is nice. Unfortunately I came in for my daughters flu shot, so she doesnt even need to see a PCP and I waited an hour past my appointment time until they finally administered the vaccine. If you're going to be understaff, let the parents know. You're wasting their time as well. What really set me off was the nurse that told me I wasn't allowed to get a prescription for the flu shot and send it to a pharmacy, which I wanted to do since it would be faster. Yes, it's allowed. Soo... About 7 months later and here I am at the GI doctor and I just found out that the blood results they gave me- completely 'normal' were in fact not normal!! My child is now having other issues directly related to those lab results and had I know or been informed of the CORRECT results I could have had my daughter being seen for all these missed months.
