If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My friend spent nearly 8 weeks here and almost died TWICE from sepsis. This was due to improper catheter care leading to an antibiotic resistant UTI that led to him being taken to the local hospital in septic shock and damn near death. This was 2 days after another patient died while in their care. I will be filing a complaint with the attorney General to have them investigated and hopefully, with any luck, shut down. This place is HORRIBLE. They neglect the patients. Nurses hide, management is no where to be found when you need someone. There are a few nurses there that actually care, but can only do so much. The food looked like slop. I had to supply meals for my loved one. My loved ones clothes were stolen by other patients. i had up demand the diapers be changed and the room get cleaned up most of the time I visited. I'd go in with a can of Lysol, and disinfecting wipes.

I was very disappointed with Medical Hill. I'm a good friend and Power of Attorney (POA) to a 91 year old woman sent to Medical Hill with a mild case of Covid. She could not go home right away because she has 24 hr. caregivers who didn't want to get exposed to Covid. She was only supposed to stay at Medical Hill a few days until she tested negative. However, Medical Hill, put her in a room with 2 other Covid patients and didn't let her get up for days, putting her at risk for pneumonia. When we insisted that they take her ou... read more
