I work have never seen such a dysfunctional billing office. I was turned over to collections for an insignificant amount of money and now have to address credit implications. When I contacted the office to figure out what happened they had someone else's address and phone number linked to my name. Which the hospital they apparently sourced it from having it correct. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! They turned me into collections for a $70 bill that I never received. I have never missed a bill a day in my life. When I contacted them they had been sending bills to an address I've never had in Pocatello. I contacted Idaho Falls Community Hospital and it shows they provided them with the correct address. They also explained that they were aware of how bad Medical Imaging Associates were, but unfortunately they are the only ones in town. I will be picketing in front of there business soon... read more
Their services were fine. What I have a problem with is billing. Sending me a text with a link twice to pay online is not acceptable. I expect an itemized paper bill with information on how to pay online. I don't click links on my phone or email. I will type in an online address I have receved and verified and pay online if that is the preference. I tell my 82 year old father to never click on payment links either. I paid, as I always do, 100% of what they asked at the time of service. I get a text message saying that they turned me into collections. It turns out that there was another bill for reading the scan or something which I never received because they input my address incorrectly leaving out a digit of the house number and inserted a . in my email address. They wrote my phone number down correctly. They couldn't just call? What a joke!!!
Did not receive either a paper bill or an email, got a bill by text message. Called the number and was connected to a call center in the Philippines. I had to request a paper bill because the person kept referring to a visit to a Dr in 2024 which was paid long ago. In the future if I need an ex ray and have a choice of providers, I will choose a different one.
