I took my daughter, my fiance and his best friend and my ex husband and his friend to this event for a kid-transfer meet up after winter vacation. Totally fun and "the princess of two kingdoms" had an amazing time. It gave us all something cool and neutral to be engaged with, and we were able to enjoy one another's company which was awesome! The black and white knight who we cheered didn't win this time... but he had by FAR the best hair, and you can tell the green knight we said so ;) The food was fine, not fancy, no fril... read more

I've been twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The first visit had a bit more of an impact because I'd never seen anything like it before BUT the second visit was not so much of a sensory overload and I was able to catch some of the more subtle details. I've heard some negative comments about role-playing events which scheduled equine competition such as the joust that ended too frequently with injuries to the horses. Always a good show... we upgraded to the VIP Royalty package and had front row. Took our grand kids this time. They really enjoyed it. Some of the stuff is a little pricey, but I look at it as more like a trip to Disneyworld than a simply a meal out with entertainment.
