I saw Dr Vander Straten today for a full body scan. I asked her to freeze a few spots, just for aesthetic reasons (she did not diagnose them as pre-cancerous). She did this very carefully and it was less uncomfortable than previous experiences with other doctors. I found Dr Vander Straten to be very thorough, I am confident that she did not miss any problems and I was reassured about a few spots that had concerned me. Great doctor, I would recommend her to my friends.

I went to Dr. Vander Straten with a questionable skin issue. She checked me over and then decided that the thing needed to be biopsied. She did the biopsy and I never felt a thing. I then had a minor reaction to the anesthetic. She and her assistant never left my side until it passed. I really appreciate not only the professionalism, but the caring that Dr. Vander Staten has. Oh, and I arrived a half an hour early for the appointment and I was immediately seen! How amazing! Thank you!

Like the patient from Jan. 25, 2018, Dr. Vander Straten never looked at my daughter's skin when she was there for an acne consultation. It was the same with her follow-up appointment. It's not bad enough to move to another office but she needs to improve her bedside manner.

I got the impression this doctor was only concerned with pushing meds she is being paid for. only spent 15 min seeing me and did not even touch my skin or properly examine any part of me on a first appointment . Will not return!
