We went to bowl there we didn't realize you need to make reservations. It cost $60 dollars to just to make reservations because you have to pay for 6 people when there were only 2 of us bowling. They said we could get on a waiting list for after they worked through their reservations. We got on the waiting list and waited. They had several open lanes while we were waiting, but we never got called. We are so disappointed and frustrated. We will never go to meridian lanes for open bowling again. Ruth, our online reservations only allows you to reserve a lane at $20/hr per lane. It does not specify how many people are on the lane as you could have up to 6 people on the lane. I will look into what happened with the waiting list and why you were not contacted when a lane was available. I have to say I’m disappointed with meridian lanes right now. I’ve left good reviews in the past and my kids have grown up going here. But you guys need to mandate the customers wear masks. We went today and we were the ONLY ones wearing masks out of a packed building. It’s disgusting. We bowl a league at Meridian Lanes on Sunday night and bowl a few other leagues around the valley. We seem to run into the same very bad service every week. We thought it was maybe just a one time error, but in fact it's only getting worse. Example: The waitress walks to the same 4 tables all night, pretty much skipping the rest of the people. so we have to get our drinks from the bar which always has a line and very very very rude and slow bartender. Was extremely disappointed to go in on a day advertised as 99 cent day to find out they were actually charging 2.79 a game due to it being the holiday. False advertising at its finest, will not be gong back.
If this alley is ran the same way Andrew ran his property management company then expect to be screwed at some point.
I really wish this place actually cared about leagues. Our league almost never starts on time. We are told we need to be finished by 9:15 or they will put open bowlers next to us. They always put open bowlers right next to the league lanes well before the 9:15 time. It would not be that big of a deal if they at least verified the open bowlers were league bowlers that understood lane courtesy. Last week our score machine was messed up. First of all Mr. Gatchell your league and all the other leagues are suppose to be done by 9:00 p.m..Your league pays for three games per bowler per league night. When those three games are over they are open play lanes. Those open play bowlers are potential new league bowlers. I am pretty sure that when you started bowling you didn't immediately join a league.
