Super clean and in great shape
It was very clean if not somewhat austere... but it was comfortable. Simple pine furnishings were all that was needed in the room--everything looked good and well maintained. Good restaurant next door for dinner.\n\nYou have to approach the hotel from the back side....which isn't very attractive. It gave us pause until we saw how good the room was. Great location near the Mesa Verde monument. There's a good restaurant near the motel (Millwood Junction), a great place for breakfast (Absolute Cafe), and some galleries. Motel is modest but clean. We were awakened by a cattle drive through town.\n\nNo complaints.

I figured this would be a disgusting place because of its remoteness. It turns out this was the nicest place on my whole trip.\n\nNope.
Very conveniently located close to Mesa Verde National Park. The rooms are extremely clean and must have been fairly recently remodeled, as the furniture seemed new. Cinnamon scented air freshener was used prior to arrival, which didn't bother us but if you're sensitive you might request it not be used prior to arrival. All in all, a fantastic value.
