Stuff was friendly but uninformed . The host sat me at a 4 top with two place settings. I placed my belongings on the third chair but was asked by the host for the chair during my meal to use at another table. Mind you, the restaurant was not full. It’s was just a dumb move. Then when we asked about some of the menu items, our server indicated that she had tried them but couldn’t really describe them for us. Nor was she familiar with the wine menu. This is our first time back at Mesh since Covid hit. It was wonderful to celebrate Mother’s Day together in a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Giving 4/5 rating for pretty much everything. Buffet was delicious but needed to be restocked quicker. Through several trips the same items were unavailable. Our server was wonderful and so gracious but she seemed overworked (this is understandable - it was pretty obvious they were a bit understaffed). I always enjoy this restaurant..only yesterday the greeter asked me and my guest “ will you be here long because we will need your table in 30 minutes “ I thought her asking me this was so rude and inappropriate, especially considering I didn’t hear her asking anyone before me this same question, was it because I was the only black woman in the waiting area? That was how I took this questioning and realize how it affected my feelings while dining
