Slow with printing but overall a good printer easy to connect to wifi. slow and noisy. Overall after trying several HP printers this is the one I picked. able to print without any problems from smartphone, tablet and laptop. Other HP printers app kept going offline. HP customer service was not helpful.

Small Footprint and a Bang for the Buck I have been staying with Brother printers since I noticed that they seem more durable and easy to maintain than similar products in this line. This one was no different--10 minutes to set it up including the wireless connection, fairly fast response, good quality scanner and takes up very little room. Update: This is a great printer!! UPDATE: After 4 months, we love this printer. We do have to reset the wi-fi connection once in a while, but that is so easy to do, since our modem has a WPS button. Unlike HP, the ink lasts forever, and is much less expensive than HP. It is also VERY user friendly, despite our initial setup difficulties. It prints double sided with ease. Easy set up. The biggest hassle was untangling the wires of the old printer and rethreading the new wires. When I powered this unit up I was prompted to enter the date and time. That's all. Suddenly it started setting itself up and after a few minutes it printed out a test sheet. The next instruction was to start printing. I tried it, and to my complete surprise it printed out the document perfectly !!! Absolutely amazing. I am very pleased with the easy set up of this printer.
Prints wonderfully! Great deals on the inks of this! I use often, most of the time for standard paper, but also cardstock. I got it because it is an inkjet, and I have printable fabric to use on it (just haven’t yet). It does not hook up to a computer in a way I am used to, so I would prefer to hook it into the back of my CPU, versus into a front USB I had to fish around it so it wouldn’t be in my way. However, it prints wirelessly too. It isn’t heavy, so you could bring it with you if you needed to.
