Awesome for the cost After much research, I reached the conclusion that Brother seemingly manufactures the better printers. This one seems to fulfill that claim. Although the set up was hampered by the small screen, you only do it once. For a tad over $110, I have a great 4 function printer and also replacement inks to over me when the initial cartridges run out.

Economic for Non-Critical Printing The wifi Brother MFC-J497DW printer/fax machine is easy to set up and great for non-critical, everyday printing. If you want really excellent printing, find a more expensive printer. This is a small printer that will work for light, everyday, text printing, and non-critical image printing. Excellent for the price You can’t expect a lot from a $70 printer. I was pleasantly surprised at ease of use and set up and print quality is decent!

Winner! In short, Brother brand ink jet printers are .. winners! This is my second MFC type printer from Brother. My last one was just replaced/donated because .... it would never break down, and I just wanted to experience newer technology. Setup was ultra simple, and the print quality is excellent. I fully expect this printer to be trouble free for many years just as the last Brother MFC all-in-one printer I purchased.
