Good Printer from Brother
I had to buy a printer last minute to file a case remotely from home, and it turned out to be a stressful purchase in deciding which brand and model to buy on little time. I ended up calling either OfficeDepot, OfficeMax or Staples (one of those places) and spoke to a person over the phone who gave me this particular model as his recommendation, having heard via word-of-mouth that many customers were happy with this printer. I would say the same. It was relatively easy and quick to set up. The automatic document feeder also works well, which was really important to me because I often have to scan voluminous filings or pages into a PDF file. The only slight disappointment I had was that the function to e-mail the PDF scan to your account could be better. For example, it often said that the file or memory was too large, so I had to scan the pages in smaller units, like three or four at a time, and then re-aggregate them on Adobe Acrobat. When you're pressed for time and working with large filings, that can add a lot of work and stress to meet a deadline. At the same time, this printer also offers other options, such as sending the scanned file to DropBox, which may have alleviated the issue and been a quicker route. I honesty haven't had time to explore all the options to maximize performance. I would definitely recommend this printer to others, and because I like to stick with what I know: I would purchase it again. It's a good printer to have, and Brother helped me get the job done, which was the most important thing to me.
