Dr. Engel listened to my complaints, examined my foot problems thoroughly and explained his strategy for treating me. After ankle surgery and foot fractures, I would never trust my foot care to anyone else. He's a nice guy too!
Dr. Engel explained the procedure fully and in an easy to understand way. He never pushed for surgery but gave all the information I needed to make an informed decision. I left the appointment feeling I’ll be well taken care of.
Dr. Engel is awesome. Treats you like family from the first appointment all the way through the post-op appointments. He explains in detail from start to finish everything happening in each appointment. Would highly recommend him!

Dr. Engel and his staff are friendly and highly professional. Dr. explained all aspects of my condition and proposed treatment thoroughly in terms easy to understand. He was reassuring that the outcome of the surgery would be good for me. The results are better than I expected and am very grateful for the care provided.
I had an accident with my knee rover after extensive foot surgery and Dr.Engel and Lauren squeezed me in first thing Monday morning.. Fortunately, the x-rays showed no damage to my foot and all the screws and plates were where they should be... The point is I never felt like I was rushed out. Dr. Engel took the time to show me and explain the x-rays. He is the best surgeon. He has accomplished what three other doctors told me was impossible.
No one enjoys having surgery nor any medical procedures. However, a Dr like Dr Engel who is very well experienced, professional, knowledgeable and with a proven track record, it makes the process better to deal with. There wasn't 1 question or concern that was not addressed. He took my care very personal and made sure my recovery process went comfortable and without complications. Highly recommend Dr Engel and his associates at Comp Ortho.
