In recent years, Dr. Slimack performed my R hip revision and my LTKR, both of which were successful. I visited him today because I was having L hip pain that was making going up stairs very difficult. I got good news today; my X-ray indicated that my left hip joint is OK, and my pain is probably from mild sciatica. Dr. Explained everything very well, only been a week and im bending at 90. This is my 2nd one I had, the last one I hardly had a scar.
Takes time to explain everything to you without you having to ask. Speaks to you like a person and both of my procedures went Exactly how he said they would
Dr. Slimack is very good at what he does! I replaced both of my knees now. Yes there's a little pain involved. But I was walking without a walker within a week both times. He did the first knee on May 2nd and the second knee Sept 5th. It's sure nice to bend over and not hear your knees crunch. I had to stay in the hospital because of my heart conditions. He has a wonderful personality. And I highly recommend him.
I had my knee replaced 2 weeks ago. I can bend my knee 114 degrees already. Walking without a cane for 10 days now indoors. Outdoors, use the cane occasionally for safety or anticipated extensive walking.Dr Slimack is an excellent Surgeon. I attribute my speedy recovery to his superiority in knee replacement.
