Worst car wash. I was chomping at the bit to try it out. I drove by everyday during construction and couldn't wait. I normally use Flying Aces and thought Mikes would be even better. WRONG!!! Pulled up on a Saturday afternoon, no lines. Nice. Checked pricing (shocked) and asked attendant if he had some kind of grand opening special. Of course not. We decided to try Mike's Carwash today at their new Centerville location. I decided to get their ultimate car wash for $20 and was told today it was "Bow tie Tuesday" which means I get it for $17. I thought that was a pretty good deal. The attendant in a bow tie writes a number in my windshield and tells me to follow the signs into the car wash. I align my tires up to the track, another bow tied attendant tells me to put my car in neutral and he proceeds to use a pre soak similar to what I do at the $5 self serve car was... read more
I used their free wash coupon [$20+, should have been $10] for the so called deluxe wash and had to literally go over the entire car manually afterwards. I hadn't planned to do this. First, I didn't know that this was NOT a full service carwash. You do not get any interior detailing [interior windows, vacuuming, dash treatment etc.], so, you'd better bring your own towels and detailing supplies and be prepared to pay to use the vacuum, while you sweat in the sun finishing the poor job that the wash just did. Absolutely awful and not worth spending a cent on. Received coupons in the mail for a free ultimate level wash (their highest level and normally costs 20$) and I still wish I wouldn't have spent the time to drive there and back had I known. This car wash did just about as much good as writing wash me with your finger on a dirty car. It slapped around the damp dirty spin brushes and sprayed foam on it (but it had cool orange lighting!) in record time!
