I went to SimonMed for an ultrasound. While at the clinic, the entire staff seemed incredibly nonchalant about their jobs, a clear indicator they're not happy employees. After being quoted ~$36 and later receiving a bill for the same amount, I assumed I had paid in full. It took three requests to finally have them send the test results to my physician. ZERO STARS IS MY REAL ANSWER! I currently have a 12pm appointment, it's currently 11:37am. I call 1 hr and 12 minutes ago to verify my insurance is covering this and I won't have to pay any money out of pocket. I'm STILL on hold and this will make the 3rd appointment Simon Med and their incompetence has made me miss. A MRI and now a mammogram and pelvic ultrasound. I called SimonMed to verify that it was in network, before calling my OBGYN to get a referral for my mammogram. I gave SimonMed my insurance information and was told that I was in network. My OB sent the referral to SimonMed. Then SimonMed called me to schedule my appointment. During that time, I again provided my insurance information and said I wanted to confirm they were in network. My mother need a chest x-ray’s because she wasn’t able to take a TB test. We arrived at Simon med at Dobson and southern Avenue at 8:00 PM when we signed in they said x-rays don’t open until 830 and there would be a half hour wait and I said that was fine. My mother is 91 years old and feeble. An hour and a half after we were there I got up and asked why we hadn’t been seen yet that we were only supposed to be there for an hour as told when we got there. This is my first time getting mammogram. When trying to schedule, they kept asking what kind of mammogram would I need despite that I told them exactly how it's ordered. I ended up scheduled for both routine mammogram and ultrasound. Even when I'm at the facility, the tech saw my order, and they never warned me anything about this not-needed ultrasound. Only to find out later that I didn't actually need to get the ultrasound, and it is not covered 100% by our insurance. So I have to pay for it. I also noticed that there was ... read more

The appointment process is a nightmare! Impossible to speak to a human being, ask questions, obtain clarifications. Next time a doctor send me to SIMONMED I will refuse.

Beware of Simon Meds tactics. I had been trying to get in for a CT Scan. I scheduled an appointment and they said everything was good to go. When I arrived they said my insurance had not approved it yet. They have been trying to get a hold of my doctor too was another excuse they gave me. I asked why then schedule the appointment and/or make me aware of the situation. They said that they don’t do that and it’s not only until you come in do they tell you. Had an appointment that I made on line for an X-ray. My appt was for 7:30am. I arrived early pursuant to emails and 3 text messages reminding me of my appointment. Upon arrival I waited another 10 minutes because of their tediously slow check in process. Upon my turn, I was informed they don’t take appointments - only walk ins. I have never had a worse experience with a business. I should have known better after it took be 2 hours to get an appointment scheduled. I waited on hold, got passed around 4 times to different people and all of that took 2 hours to make a simple appointment and the only location they could get me in for was an hour away from my home even though there are SEVERAL Simonmed's near my home as I live in a urban area.
