I was told that I had periodontal disease and that I would need to come for 2 sessions of cleaning involving local anesthesia, each visit costing over a thousand dollars. Since I had no symptoms of periodontal disease such as bleeding gums, receding gums, pyorrhea, etc. and my previous hygienists had always praised my dental hygiene, I decided to go to another dental clinic. When I arrived, both ladies in the front were speaking on the phone with other patients (about billing, insurance, reimbursement process). When I let them know I was here to check in, the one nearest the door acknowledged but with severe side eye / dirty look, as if I was really bothering her by being there. I went and sat down. justin- I am so sorry! this is inexcusable, and I will share this with them both. It was our front office lead and our OM, and both have been trained on how to handle this. Nothing is more important than the patient in front of you.
My experience with Dr. Vane was not good at all. She made me feel like she didn’t have time to talk to me. When I asked for clarification she responded extremely rude and demeaning. I will not be coming back.
