Exactly what you would expect from a celebrity owned dealership. Pictures of cj Wilson, and a complete lack of accountability. Had to bring my new bike back twice in the first two days for check engine light / oil light and a scratch in the gas tank that was hidden under a sticker. Too make a long story short, l had a new battery installed in 2016 and in 2018. I had my 1999 BMW R1100RT stored in my friends garage since about Sep 2017. The BMW would not start, so l had it towed to Countryside BMW. Its the only BMW dealer in the southwest side area of Chicago. I understand a business has to make a profit but $244.38 for a battery, test, installation, labor, and taxes is a bit UNBELIEVABLE. Many motorcycle repair shops will NOT work on BMW motorcycles.
Worst experience I’ve ever had. Spoke with salesman Marius for almost two weeks via email about a 2015 k1600 GT. One of the questions I asked was any damage or issues. He assured me that he walked around the bike and was in excellent shape. I commit to buying and put deposit down. Drive three hours to pick it up. Discover the bike had road rash all down left side obviously the bike was dropped on its side. Never once did they take the time to mention this. This place is garbage. Horrible customer service.
This service shop does not meet the quality of a BMW Motorrad service center. When I lifted the bike and looked into the engine area, I noticed a shop rag was left on top of my engine. I've bought a bike from here in the past and I was pleased with the professionalism of the sales team and finance team. Unfortunately, the service department is not up to the standard that I had held other BMW service shops. Note: The last major service (valve clearance check) was done here. I am a female rider, M-class licensed, and looking to purchase a used bike. I arrived with cash in my pocket and ready to purchase and had the exact bike I was interested in from online pre-shopping; was told to bring back a friend who would be allowed to test-drive the bike but was informed that I would not be allowed to ride at all without full purchase; was informed that "he" (meaning my male friend that I could bring back next time) would be able to tell me if the machine is good or not with the implication being that I ... read more
Service not completed 3 days after the scheduled time and date - and not something unusual, just a standard 24k service. Disorganized, poor communication and not what I have come to expect from BMW or this dealership. Don't know what's wrong but do know that I'll do service myself or go to Barrington or Milwaukee in the future.
