UPDATE: In my first review, I forgot to mention I never actually stayed the full 28 days during both of my admissions to Mt. Regis. I left after 12 days the first time and after 8 days the second time but it had nothing to do with the facility and everything to do with me and what I wanted and needed. After my first stay I had 34 days before relapsing and knowing at that moment, if I didn't go back to treatment and change my life, I would die. No individual council, small groups 25 or 30 clients and they run out of food during meals don’t let this place fool you with their intake promises you may see a doctor once during your stay including detox
Stop the cult like atmosphere. Its not treatment, its brainwashing. Mt. Regis sole purpose is to make money, period. Lies, lies and more lies to keep you there. I am worse off than before I entered. Staff is trained to lie to keep the money flowing.

This is not a place for the sick or injured. it is like a prison. no help if you are In pain. Beds are thin mattress on a board. Had to walk for everything when you were not able. They kept secrets of info. They messed up your meds. No phones. Could not call out. You have to threaten to get out. If you need geriatric care, forget it. Patients kept falling & breaking bones in the handicap bathroom. It. might be OK if you are young or court mandated but stay away if you can make your own decisions. I wasted good money here.
