Arrogant, rude, condescending and only concerned with how much money he can squeeze out of your family. Beware of the ridiculous claims in the Markham newspaper of him being the highest rated dentist in Markham. Those rankings are fixed. He spends no time with you, leaving his staff to take care of everything. If you want a dentist who actually cares about something more than taking your money - like actually the health of your teeth - then go ANYWHERE else.

I would not go to this office anymore and would not recommend it to any friends. Don't be deceived by the seemingly nice people in the office. The only reason they are nice to you is to make and trick you spend more money. Once they think you can't be ripped off anymore, they will be as rude as you can possibly imagine. In the beginning, I ignored the bad comments left here on this dental office and thought that sometimes it's just impossible to please everyone. These people only care about money! They do not care about what will make me feel better. They tried to rape me for every penny they can get! Invest your money in a helpful dentist. Don't see Dr. Brown

I have not met Dr. Brown personally but have gone to his office as a new patient. There's no doubt it is a pleasant environment with all the latest gadgets. He has other dentists and a small army of admin/clerks and hygenists. My biggest complaint is with their lack of concern about billing beyond insurance coverage without your knowledge, even after advising them I would not accept such treatment with prior consent. I am now on the hook for over $500 and they haven't even finished the work!!! Plus, my teeth are more sensiti... read more

Fully endorse the entry made 4/12/2007. My entry would read almost word for word the same. Dr. Brown appears to have morphed into a marketing dentist, at the expense of the caring practitioner of his earlier days. He leaves important caps and fillings to his less qualified staff - and we are left to live, and bite, with the less than perfect result.

I was a patient of Dr. Brown for years and years. Twenty years ago, he had a small practice and when you visited him, all of his time was spent on you, the patient. He has now morphed into a large Hollywood Production wherein you sit patiently in a chair only to have him come in, spend 45 seconds chatting with you, looking at your teeth and then running up and down the stairs to different patients in his Century Home Office.
