Nancy was professional and confident in surgery, yet she took the time to explain to us why she was using certain techniques and what the outcome would be. I ret appreciated that she would do that for us.
She is very attentive and addresses any concerns. She is not overreactive and is very good at accommodating schedules and lifestyles.
I had my last dermatologist for a long time, she was a really thorough, lovely person. When she moved, I worried about her replacement. Recently I had an issue and made an appointment. Wow. They are wonderful. Nancy knew all of my past history and dealt with my issues with humor, empathy and skill. I am so happily surprised. Nancy and her nurse made me feel seen. A huge thanks to those two. That is very rare nowadays.
I haven’t seen Dr. Shina for six years yet she remembered me, my mother, and my daughter! She was very professional, courteous, kind, knowledgeable, and explained everything in terms I could understand. She took time to listen to me and my concerns. She wanted to check with my insurance before proceeding with further treatment and explained my options. I have moved, making the drive to see her even further, but she is worth it. I absolutely loved Dr Nancy Shina! She explained things well, she was extremely personable, empathetic and very sweet. She was very knowledgeable and I actually had a good time during my visit! I will absolutely be going to her as my dermatologist moving forward. The one and only thing that I did not like was her trying to convince me to buy the pharmacist’s personal brand of vitamins that he owns and created.
