Dr. Heineman performed a thorough exam, explained his findings, and explored the treatment options, including risks and benefits. We chose the best treatment option for me together. He was very generous with his time and expertise. I was seen close to my appointment time. The front desk staff was efficient and helpful. The nurse and x-ray tech were professional and organized. Altogether, it was a pleasant experience!
Dr. Heineman asked a lot of questions about my pain, performed a very detailed physicial exam and explained what is wrong with my wrist in a way that made me feel we knew each other for a long time. If you need to see an excellent wrist specialist with great communication skills and compassion - see him.
Was seen and tested for carpal tunnel. They saw how severe it was and went ahead with surgery. 2 weeks later at the procedure, it took less than an hour from checking in and being finished. They explained the procedure and healing process very well. I am 5 weeks to the day, no issues, no real pain. I'm not one who likes the idea of surgery at all, but it went so well I'm actually looking forward for the other hand to get fixed soon. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Heineman.
